Bandits announce Ethan Beyer commitment to Merrimack

October 5, 2024-  The Brooks Bandits of the BCHL are pleased to announce that 2004-born defenseman Ethan Beyer has committed to Merrimack College.

Beyer joined the Bandits in the 2022 season after playing at Shattuck St. Mary’s U18 Prep. 

The 20 year old defensemen is coming off his second full season with the Bandits totaling 79  points (21G, 48 A) in 143 games between regular season and playoffs games.  During his time in Brooks, he won two Alberta Championships, a Centennial Cup and the 2024 Rocky Mountain Challenge.

Beyer was named top defensemen of the 2023 Centennial Cup in Portage, Manitoba.

Ethan Beyer was named the 2024-25 Captain of the Brooks Bandits. 

Located in North Andover, Massachusetts, Merrimack College men’s ice hockey team competes in the Hockey East Conference of NCAA Division | hockey.

The Bandits would like to congratulate Ethan and the Beyer family on his continued accomplishments.

The Bandits continue their regular season on Saturday, October 5th when they host the Blackfalds Bulldogs. Game time is 7:00 pm.
