October 16, 2024 – The Brooks Bandits of the BCHL have acquired 2005-born forward A.J. Lacroix from the Chilliwack Chiefs in exchange for the rights to 2005-born forward Ty Mason and future considerations.
The 19-year-old forward most recently played for the Tri-City Storm in the USHL, recording 31 points (16G, 15A) in 68 games. The West Vancouver, BC native is committed to Michigan State University. Lacroix also played four games with team USA in the Hlinka Gretzky cup tallying three points in 2022-23.
Mason dressed in 53 games for the Bandits last season recording 51 points ( 24G, 27A).
Lacroix will be in the line-up on Wednesday, October 16th as the Bandits face the West Kelowna Warriors at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack, BC.
Game time is 7:00 PDT at the Chilliwack Coliseum and will be broadcast live on New Country 105.7. FM.
