October 3, 2024 – The Brooks Bandits are proud to announce forward Parker Lalonde and goaltender Johnny Hicks has been named the Fortis BC 1st and 3rd stars of the Month for September.
Lalonde put up six goals and three assists in four games while scoring a hat trick in the home opener on September 21st and the overtime game-winner against the Smoke Eaters on September 29th. He was named the Napa Auto Parts 1st Star of the Week for September 20/21/
Hicks made three starts and earned himself three wins with a .969 SV% and a 0.67 GAA. He also put up a shutout in the first game of the season stopping all 22 shots he faced on September 20th in Okotoks. He has only allowed two goals in the three games he has played so far.
Congratulations to Parker and Johnny on their accomplishments for the start of the 2024-25 BCHL season.
The Bandits are back in action on Saturday, October 5th when they host the Blackfalds Bulldogs at 7:00 pm.
